Char Ciammaichella
Started making baskets around 1990, taking a class to get over seeing her youngest son off to kindergarten. That class led to many more from a variety of teachers and styles...then to designs of her own and related weaving 'habits' such as her chainmaille jewelry. Also an avid photographer, all of the photos on this site were taken and edited by Char.

Since 1998, Char has organized WinterWeave, a basket weaving conference held in Mentor, Ohio. Sponsored by the Wildwood Basketry Guild, this conference allows weavers from across the country to enjoy February weather in NE Ohio.
